Not only delicious steak, but the best of company. A well overdue catch up with my London cous, Brooke.
Saturday, sadly was moving day - my currently place undergoing renovations it was time to evacuate. I moved to my friend Nikki's couch temporarily until I find a new place - I owe this girl so much, saving me from being homeless - you're a star Nikki!
Who knew you could accumulate so much in 4 short months!! Also, moving even only a small amount of stuff (no furniture) is so exhausting!! By 4.30 I could barely keep my eyes open - queue a lazy Saturday night in watching Dirty Dancing. #Nobodyputsbabyinthecorner
On Sunday morning, Nikki and I got up early to meet my high school girlfriend Maria at the National Portrait Museum. They're currently showing a portrait exhibition on Audrey Hepburn. Such a talented & stunning women, it's not surprising the exhibition was packed to the max, I highly recommend checking this out if you're travelling through London over the coming months. Get your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. - Obviously no photo's inside.
Another Monday to Friday week full of flat viewings, now living on a couch. Needless to say my living situation has definitely been weighing on my mind - Nikki coping the brunt of my 'over it' tantrum early on in the week. Friday night finally some success as I got the approval message from one of the flats I viewed mid week. Yay a place to live!!! Move in date TBC. But needless to say I'm extremely relieved and therefore celebrated with a few too many drinks with work mates Friday night.
Saturday, with my head a little dusty Nikki, Ash and myself were treated to Adam's (Nikki's flatmate) world famous brunch. I could get used to this...
| Snapped mid session. What a spread - Thanks Adam! |
| The classic tourist shot |
Greenwich University below - the campus is massive!!!
Later that day we took a stroll down Brick Lane to do some vintage shopping and pick up a salt beef bagel - if ever you have a chance to go to Brick Lane make sure you don't miss this (vegetarians exempt of course). This bakery is a machine, churning out god knows how many bagels daily - it's also open 24/7 so great for a midnight snack after a boozy night if you're in the area.
It's a long one this week kids as I'll be galavanting throughout Europe for the next two weeks, I'll keep you all updated through Facebook and promise to post all the details upon my return.
Bye for now xo
