WEEK 23-25: Parties, Poshness, & People

Now well and truly back to London life after an unforgettable holiday. My first weekend following my return to work was a long weekend - talk about good timing. It was also London cous' Brookes birthday. As to be expected Brooke celebrated in style with drinks and fun times at a cool bar in Brixton.

Cocktails galore.

The next morning both exciting and so un-fun at the same time it was time to move off Nikki's couch and into my new permanent residence. Yay to having a real bed and a place to hang my clothes again - boo to having to move all my belongings yet again.

It's been a couple of weeks now since I moved in and I have my room looking my own. It's nothing much, but it's home.

The week went by with not a whole lot to report, slowly sussing out the new commute to and from work and the area in general.

The following weekend it was time for a posh 20's themed prohibition party. This is one I'd been looking forward to for a while, not normally one for "dress-up" parties I've always loved the style of the 1920's so was happy to deck myself for a night of fabulousness. Such an a great event, everyone looked stunning - even the band was authentic.

So many sequins!!!

A busy week at work, in the lead up to New York fashion week meant I was eager to get home on Friday night and unwind in a night of nothingness.

Saturday night I had an overdue catch up with my Siena College gal pal - Maria, we caught up over drinks and then drinks turned into a late night snack. As you can tell we were both super excited over the purchase of our yummy fries.

Love this girl!
3 forks for 2 people, seems right.
The best news of the weekend? My girl Ashleigh arriving in London to begin her own away-from-home adventure. So excited to have this girl close by again!

We caught up in Covent Garden to check out the art installation currently on display there as well as catch up over a feast of a meal.

So much yummy food!!
I'm sure you'll be seeing many more pictures of the two of us together. I hope you love your London adventure as much as I do!

Until next week.... xo
