WEEK 32: Things Get Spooky

It's halloweeeeen!!! And while I didn't end up going to any halloween parties or events we did have a little celebration in the office.

An Endless assortment of treats, this continued to grow throughout the day.
Harry Potter as a Pumpkin
How cute are these??!
London really gets behind this holiday, so I was a little sad that I didn't get involved. Everyones costumes and makeup looked amazing. Setting the bar high for next year thats for sure.

Saturday was a very big day on the sporting calendar for Rugby lovers - the World Cup Final Australia Vs New Zealand, being played right here in London. Being a town filled with expat Kiwi's and Aussies tickets were like gold and every pub screening the game was filled to the brim with a sea of Black, Gold and Green.

Not being much of a sport lover, I was sceptical about going to watch the game - particularly as I don't know the rules. But I went and despite my home country losing, I did have a whole lot of fun while watching the game. By the end I think I was getting the hang of things, although why anyone would ever want to par-take in the sport is beyond me.

Unfortunately the pub really was too packed to be taking happy or not-so-happy snaps. So you'll all just have to imagine us screaming and yelling over the top of each other.

Sunday morning I awoke to this -

The view from our place, and all throughout London - Fog city! It's getting colder, and with that in mind I hit the shops to buy a blanket to keep me a little warmer at night.

The windows of Selfridges caught my eye...

Each window was a different star sign - this is mine, which also happened to be my favourite -  AQUARIUS "March to the beat of their own Drum".

To round out the weekend, I was craving a roast and my flat mates were more than willing to join me at our local pub for one. I went with the lamb and not a scrap was left when I was done. YUM!!

The pub was so cozy, we stayed for 3 bottles of red wine!!

Have any of you visited London in the winter? I'd love to hear what your favourite winter activities are in London, while its lovely to stay in sometimes theres so much to see and do no matter what time of year.

Until next time xo
