This weekend was one I'd been looking forward to for a while. London is known for it's ability to constantly have fun and interesting things to do and to be honest it's hard to keep up with it all. A while ago a bunch of us booked tickets for a pop-up mini golf course set up under waterloo station in the arches. This was the weekend we finally got to put out skills to the test. Complete with cocktails (of course).
Before our Tee-time we grabbed dinner at The Real Greek. So yum!

Do you think we ordered enough?
After dinner the stroll to the course was very pretty all lit up.
We were all rugged up thinking that the arches would be very cold but thankfully they were well heated, and even had a cloak room to store our many layers. We grabbed a cocktail and got started.

Cocktail making requires a lot of concentration, demonstrated above.

Getting psyched for the game.
The course wasn't incredibly difficult but it was a bit of fun.
Some of us took it very seriously, others (meaning me) not so much. Nikki and Gianni fought it out for the top spot.
Saturday morning I was woken up bright and early at 8am to a phone call - "GET UP AND GO OUTSIDE ITS SNOWING!!!" - Thanks Adam. At first I wasn't buying it, but he was right - FIRST SNOW IN LONDON! It didn't last very long and melted as soon as it landed but it was still so exciting to see. It really is winter now!

Saturday afternoon it was time for the big one - WINTER WONDERLAND!! Since I've arrived in London people have gone on and on about this event, with nearly everyone saying it's their favourite part of Christmas in London. Big hype!
While it was freezing cold that evening, it didn't fail to disappoint. Due to the cold and the masses of crowds (opening weekend) we didn't explore too much. We spent most of our time in the Bavarian Beer Tent singing along to classic tunes played by an awesome band.

Everyone got well into the band, singing and dancing along to the tunes.

I can't wait to get back there and do a bit more exploring. Twas an unforgetable night, I'm surprised I had a voice the next day.
Sunday morning, not surprisingly I had a bit of a sore head. But I attempted to soldier on because today was the day I got to go to my first English football game (thats Soccer for all of you playing at home) Tottenham vs West Ham.
Thanks to Adam for taking me along, and explaining everything for me. My favourite chant of the day would have to be;
"You're S**T you're F***ing S**T" - so creative. Despite the hangover it was a great day, and a great game. Spurs won 4-1, we left happy.
What a weekend! Hope you enjoyed reading about this weeks festivities.
Over and out. xo
