WEEK 36: Christmas Shopping

It's finally December and that means it's definitely time to embrace the Christmas spirit. Saturday morning I got up bright and early to meet Ashleigh for breakfast and a stroll through the Portobello Road markets. There were a few festive things to look at along the way.

Fresh Christmas trees
Later we went on to Harrods to look at the windows and check out their Christmas department. Being Saturday of course it was packed, but one things for sure it definitely made it feel like Christmas. Being in the famous department store is like being in a dream (where you can't afford to buy anything).

Burberry store windows
Such a beautiful building

Trapeze artist
Each window had an 'underground' scene where the mice lived.
So clever! Ballerina's in UGG's
It's near impossible to be grumpy in Harrods, a definite happy place for a shopaholic like me!

£600 Pram for your Doll anyone?
I loved the garland strung around everywhere

So much merchandise!

My mate Harrod the Bear
Sunday was spent Christmas shopping as well, this time at the ginormous Westfield in Stratford. Not nearly as pretty, and packed with children running mad - not so fun, and hence no pretty pictures today. Plus I'd hate to spoil your Christmas surprise! *Cannot guarantee Christmas presents for all of you.

Last night, sadly it was time to say farewell to Nikki as she heads back home to Australia to hopefully get a new visa and spend some well deserved time with her family & friends. In honour of her leaving we went back to Nikki's favourite place on earth - Winter Wonderland!!

A bit warmer tonight we were much more content walking around the park, even went on a roller coaster!!!

The ice rink
All the pretty lights
Some rides that you couldn't pay me to go on!
I'll miss you Nikki enjoy the Australian heat and come back with a great tan - you WILL be back!!

Next week Paree!!!! xxx
