Sadly the theatre facade was under construction so it didn't make for great photo's but the interior was lovely.
I've been to see Mamma Mia before but the music is so fun I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Thanks Kate for thinking of me!
Come the weekend it was time to check out some different markets around London.
Saturday lunch time I met Ashleigh to check out the Maltby Street markets, just over from Tower bridge.
These markets were so cute, and seemed to be filled with locals more so than tourists. It was extremely crowded as we arrived right on lunch time but we gave the street a once over before deciding what we wanted to eat - both settling on delicious bratwurst.
| These waffles looked tempting!! |
| Little flags lined the street |
With loads of cocktail & wine bars branching off from the street, I'll definitely be returning to these markets when it warms up a little to enjoy a boozy afternoon.
Later that day I joined Kate, Gianni and Brooke at the latest Street Feast festival - this one in Canada Water. They've been doing these in various spots in London for a while now.
I knew upon exiting the tube station where there was staff stationed to direct us to the event that it was going to be good.
The fit out of this venue was incredible. I would've loved to have sampled something from each station however the food was a little pricey - and not so kind to the waist line with plenty of burgers and fried food on offer.
I was pretty excited to eat my meal...
Sunday was spent running errands and generally getting myself sorted for the week ahead. Already dreaming about next weekend.
Thanks for reading x
